About

close up handled rose platter full respsd_edited-1.jpg

Each piece of my ceramics is individually hand crafted. I work in
small series and use a pottery wheel or hand building techniques which allows for experimentation and evolution in design.

The glazes are the primary focus of some pieces.  Other pieces are decorated with imagery either using a lithography process, or hand painted brushwork.  A mono printing technique is a new addition to the work.
All the pieces are then fired in an electric kiln to approximately 2200 degrees F (Cone 6). All of the glazes used are food safe and made in my studio.

I consider the work to be a "green" product. Solar panels on the roof provide all the electricity for our home and my studio, including the kiln.

My hope is that the pieces you take home make every meal a celebration.

If you are interested in purchasing my work, please see my events page or contact me.

Thank you.
